From Maxvorstadt to Au Haidhausen...
I was a little worried that I would be unable to find a new place to live, as Munich is notoriously difficult to find a rental property in. I have my current flat for just one month, so I have had to arrange a new home for the remaining months. However, luck has fallen at my feet, as Stylight kindly arranged a meeting to see a fantastic flat last week, which is lovely and is in a great location. With Aldi and Lidl at my doorstep, where can i go wrong? Prosecco for a few Euros and all the cured meat i could ask for! The flatmate is called Claudia and seems friendly, which is always a bonus when embarking on a new flatshare.
I move into the new place at the weekend, which is exciting as I will be living in a new area called Au Haidhausen, but also a shame as I will be leaving behind the 'trendy' central area called Maxvorsdtadt, of which I have become accustomed to! At least the new place has a resident hamster, so maybe it will stop me pining over Henry (the family dog at home!)
